Loft Conversions More Popular |

Figures from the Halifax have shown that loft conversions have increased in popularity in recent months. Their research shows that 50% of home-owners spent around £6000 on their homes last year and those who chose to convert their lofts spent just over £7000. Those who chose to do full loft conversions rather than simply creating storage space spent much more than this. Mark Loppas from Bespoke Lofts Ltd has commented on the findings and says that even the smallest home can be substantially increased by adding a loft conversion and these figures show that this option is increasingly popular for home-owners at the moment. It seems that the fact that moving home does not make financial sense that home-owners are choosing the easiest extension option and building a room or two in the loft to fit the bill. |
