Research from Pilkington EnergyKare has found that 76% of would be home-owners now rate energy efficiency as an important factor when buying a home. 80% also said that they would look for loft insulation first, followed by other energy saving installations such as new boilers, double glazing and cavity insulation. The survey also discovered that once someone has bought their home, energy efficient measures were high on the list of home improvement ideas. |
